Task 5

Difference between Fear and Respect.

The topic fear and respect are very different topics. Fear is a negative feeling which destroys the self-confidence of a person. Fear is caused by the belief that something is dangerous. Fear terrifies you of consequences and blocks your mind and stops you from doing certain actions. Fear is such an emotion which is per-programmed into all animals and person. Respect is a positive feeling which comes out from the position of strength. You respect a person when you see a person better in some aspect which energizes your mind. Respect is a natural phenomenon caused in the context of certain observed values, it is also a very high emotion. Respect is earn by respecting others, if we respect others, we get respect in return. Respect is also an act of admiring somebody even if you don’t agree with them whereas fear is when you act what they tell you to act not because you want to but because you are afraid of them or their acts.

Fear and respect have very different consequences. Fear is toxic to a person but respect isn’t. Usually fear seems to destroy ones self-confidence but respect can built a confidence. Fear is life-threatening emotion whereas the respect is life-enhancing emotion. Everything achieved by the fear is forced but everything achieved by the respect is earned not forced. Due to the fear a person seem to ignore things, a person even don’t try to do what they want, a person even can’t trust himself due to the presence of fear. Respect plays very importance role upon the success of a person. Respect establishes a mutual understanding between a groups of people. By fearing other we many get some respect but that kind of respect is only for instance, in this condition we simply get respect because they want to escape from our fear. One can never truly respect a person if he is afraid of him.

Every person in life have fears something/someone. A person should try to face the fear not by escaping from it. If we try to ignore or escape from the fear then we cannot get rid of it for our whole life. Everything done in fear is not genuine but only an action/response to a perceived danger.

Task 4

Difference between Arrogance and Confidence.

Arrogance is an ego and is a feeling of self importance that usually includes some kind of feeling of superiority to others. A person with arrogance needs to prove or show others that he/she is better than others. This desire to rise higher makes the person attempt to lower other people. An arrogant person may seem to ignore any areas of weakness and only play up areas of strength, but they often do so because of an inability to come to terms with weakness. Body language of an arrogant person differs from that of a confident person. The effects of arrogant behavior are usually quite negative. People who are arrogant tend to offend those they encounter by doing whatever it takes. Arrogant people shows off as often as possible, and they are not honest to themselves.

Confidence is a feeling of self-assurance, a feeling of trust in a person, reliance, good faith. They are confident in themselves, they trust in, depend on and have faith in themselves. A confident person accepts their weaknesses or faults, even though they may not like them. This acceptance enables the confident person to handle faults with grace. A confident person need not make life a competition, so a confident person is often much easier to be around. A confident person usually has a balanced and realistic image of himself/herself. A confident person is not threatened when others do well. A confident person rarely will be found lecturing to others on how they are wrong. A confident person knows where he/she stands. Those with confidence have a positive and optimistic attitude.

A confident person feels competent from the inside out, in every task they are given they genuinely try and use their talent to complete the task. This doesn't mean that an arrogant person do not have any kind of skills. In some cases an arrogant person may have more skills than a confident person, but the confident person will always tend to use whatever abilities they have with more calm control than an arrogant person.

So, we can say that a person with arrogance have to face many problems with their life and a confidence person also do have different problems in their life but the difference is the way of dealing with the problem. A person with arrogance tries to ignore the facts about the problem but a confident person deals in a different way to their problem. Arrogant person cannot deal with their problems in calm manner like a confident person does.
